Royal Dental Clinics had used the world’s latest and most advanced technology for making Dental Crowns and bridges for long term dental prosthesis such as in house CAD-CAM technology, CBCT Imaging and 3D printing. At Royal Dental Lab the team of doctors and technicians are trained to do as much they can for the patient, but as little as possible to the patient. Thus the team is able to reduce the multiple impressions, sittings, temporaries and other trials on the patient by using the most effective technologies. The advanced Monolithic Zirconia dental crowns are milled from solid blocks of zirconia and are sintered over 1500 degrees celsius and are near unbreakable.
Royal Dental Clinics is Internationally recognised for our founder’s contribution to ‘Same Day Fixed Teeth’, ‘Immediate Loading of Implants’, ‘Advances in Dentistry’, particularly in the field of Implantology. Royal Dental Lab is the support system for Royal Dental Clinic as it supports the research and developmental aspect for solutions in innovating dentistry.
By definition dental prosthesis is an intra-oral (inside the mouth) prosthesis used to restore intra-oral defects such as missing teeth, crooked teeth or missing parts of teeth. One of the most advanced materials for these artificial teeth is called SAPTeethTM. SAPTeethTM are a group of highly advanced polymers which are specially made to protect the bone, implant and the natural tooth under the prosthesis. Types of SAPTeethTM: SAPT.Resin, SAPT.HIPC, SAPT.BioPEEK, SAPT.3Dresin, SAPT.CemResin.
For a long-term dental prosthesis – SAPT.HIPC has already been tested in vivo and approved for expected life of over 9 years and is clinically-proven and safe to use. SAPT.HIPC is plaque-resistant with excellent gingiva compatibility and resistant to discolourations and thus lead to a higher level of patient acceptance. SAPT.HIPC has the most diverse indications, which can be covered with a single material. It has a high level of strength/long-term stability. As a high-performance polymer, HIPC does not lose its strength in comparison with ceramic, as ceramic “ages”. Unlike ceramic it is easy to satisfactorily repair if needed.
SAPT.BioPEEK is the new reference for a permanent dental prosthesis framework. It is monomer-free with no allergic reactions or discolourations of the gingiva known to date. It is light/similar to bone and is a biocompatible material which integrates in the jaw. There is no galvanic effect and no oxidation or metal taste. It can reduce compression and torsion caused by chewing and can partly compensate for this. This results in a periodontal effect and an increase in wearing comfort. It is durable as it has high wear and chewing comfort, with lower implant failure due to overloading in most cases.
Based on research it can be concluded that ceramic teeth, porcelain teeth, Ni-Cr teeth (metal teeth), titanium teeth exert stresses on the bone that are about 24 times more than SAPTeethTM. This difference is due to the shock absorbing capability of these polymers. Therefore, in patients with weak bones or low calcium, SAPTeethTM is recommended over conventional prosthesis.
Produces safe, bio-compatible, aesthetic temporary prostheses that are required to be replaced by a higher performance polymer due to wear and tear.
It is a thermoplastic (T-) or a chemoplastic (C-) polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA).
T-PMMA is produced using industrial polymerisation procedure for producing high purity PMMA with a theoretic level of purity of 99.9%. The residual 0.1% is non-cytotoxic and is therefore harmless.
C-PMMA is produced using a chain reaction which may generate free radicals. These radicals allow for the formation of long chains polymers. They may trigger allergies and material in-tolerances.
Material properties:
Indications:
These prosthesis have higher wear and tear and discolouration when compared with the higher performance polymers. Still, they have a distinct advantage of reducing the load on the underlying structures under circumstances of heavy bite force, paan- supari habit, bruxism, clenching etc. They can be used as a permanent prosthesis in such cases.
Increase the wearing time of the temporary resin prosthesis and can be used as an intermittent prosthesis. They offer even more polished aesthetics.
It is a polychrome composite polymer with 20% ceramic filler intermixed with the PMMA. It has a higher wearing time and strength.
This resultant optimized material mixture gives the dental prosthesis a natural colour gradient and an increased strength.
Material properties:
Indications:
These materials can be used as a permanent prosthesis over natural tooth or implants. They do not discolour easily. They have a higher resistance to scratching and abrasion, hence the aesthetics last longer than resin.
It is a universal genius. They offer the most elegant, and varied solutions for a number of indications and can be used as a permanent prosthesis with an approved life span of 9+ years.
It is a cross linked composite polymer that offers higher physical values than conventional PMMA. They are manufactured under controlled environment of high temperature and pressure. As there are no use of dental glass or light cured plastics the love of color retention and plaque resistance is comparable with Ceramic restorations. They have been clinically proven and approved for over 9 years of use.
Advantages:
Material properties:
Indications:
Most versatile material. They can be used as permanent dental prosthesis with implant, natural tooth or both. They have an excellent gingival response and pressure absorbing capability.
The most physiologic properties of this frame work material are only surpassed by nature itself. It is as elastic, light and thermal conductivity as that of bone by making the patient’s feel at ease.
They have the highest aesthetic retention and resistance to scratching and abrasion. It is a bio-compatible polymer of polyether ketone and is strengthened using ceramic. They have been in use in body Implantology for over 30 years (intervertebral discs, hip joints etc). With the improvement by ceramic fillers these materials can now be used in dental applications especially as a framework.
Advantages:
Advantages of Royal Peek restorations:
Unbeatable convenient processing, Maximum customisability, Cuts like dentin, Conserving the antagonists, Optimal Osseointegration, Optimal gingival management, Longevity of the restoration, Natural oral feeling and chewing sensation, Natural aesthetics, Allows immediate restoration and one time treatment.
Material properties:
Can be used as permanent dental prosthetic framework, implant and natural tooth cases. They have excellent gingival management and pressure absorption.
Class 1 photo polymers bio compatible resins which are built from additive laser process to delivery surgical guides, and splits which can be fitted as a framework or temporary supports.
They are a Class I bio compatible resin (EN-ISO 10993-1:2009/AC:2010, USP Class VI) material. They are used in the dental industry by additive processes, hence allowing for construction of even the most complex prosthesis.
Indications:
They are used to create surgical guides and temporary splints. These material can be sterilized in the autoclave.
Material properties:
Advantages:
Flow able polymer which attached to the surfaces of the implant, natural teeth & high-performance polymers thereby creating a single unit for a more durable, success-oriented, & efficient dental prosthetic solutions.
They are flow able, biocompatible polymers which create a chemical or mechanical bond between the two surfaces which may be of titanium, peek high-performance polymers. They themselves provide shock-absorbing capability to reduce the load on the inner structures. They have minimal dissolution in the saliva and are therefore stable for a long period of time.
